Jennifer Lopez
Profession:
J-Lo's twin wishes - Feb 3 2007 She's made no secret of her desire to have children, but don't expect Jennifer Lopez to have more than a couple.
Answering some gentle probing by US chat show host Ellen DeGeneres on Friday, La Lopez said she "absolutely" wants children of her own, in addition to the three step-children she looks after with husband Marc Anthony.
Marc, 38, has two sons Cristian, five, and Ryan, three, with his ex-wife Dayanara Torres, and a 12-year-old daughter, Arianna, from a previous relationship.
Asked by Ellen: "But you want to have more kids. Lots of kids?", Lopez replied: "I don't know about a lot."
"Like, five, four?" Ellen speculated, while Jennifer replied: "One or two. I'll take two at once, that would be great."
After Ellen pointed out how much work twins would be, J-Lo, who we're pretty sure could afford a bit of hired help with nappy-changing, seemed keener on the idea of only being pregnant once.
"Okay, but then you're done, and you got two," she exclaimed.
"Well, [with] quadruplets you'd be done with four," Ellen quipped, before a resolute Jen fired back: "Too many!"
Still, Jen doesn't appear to be in a rush to get pregnant, telling People en Espanol in a recent interview: "When you are as blessed as I am, you don't like to push it."
Jennifer’s life change - Jan 15 2007 It seems Jennifer Lopez doesn’t go out to the clubs any more - and she couldn’t be happier.
The diva was chatting to journalists at the launch of her new MTV DanceLife TV show, when she revealed why.
"It was a choice," admitted the 36-year-old, who is now happily married to singer Marc Anthony after failed and very public relationships with Diddy and Ben Affleck.
"My life for me had become uncomfortable in a way that was affecting my personal life and the people in it. So I decided I needed to take a look at that."
She continued: "I realised there was a way to pull back from that. You don’t go out as much. You choose different places to go."
In fact, most of the time she and Marc choose the sofa at home.
"We’re not big club people," she revealed. "Not anymore, I’ve had my days."
She is still dancing on her new show though, which she also executive produces. The reality programme will follow a small group of dancers trying to make it in the biz. J-Lo’s ex plans book publish fight - Dec 2 2006 Actress Jennifer Lopez’s first husband, Ojani Noa, has told a Los Angeles judge that he plans to fight her efforts to quash a tell-all memoir.
Noa, 31, told a pre-trial hearing that he regretted agreeing to a June 30 preliminary injunction that banned him from "criticising, denigrating, casting in a negative light or otherwise disparaging or causing disparagement" to Lopez.
"I want to fight this thing to the end," he said. "My life has not been the same since this lawsuit was filed."
The judge gave Noa until January 17 to hire a lawyer or represent himself.
Lopez filed her lawsuit on April 10 and obtained a temporary restraining order barring Noa from publishing intimate details of their sex life.
But Noa told the court hearing that Lopez misunderstood what the book was about.
"This was to be about my life story, coming here from Cuba," he said.
"She was only a part of my life, but I was going to talk about my other girlfriends, as well," he said.
