Ok, so the rays of summer love have left us pale, and one can only attain such heated measures by flicking through leafy holiday brochures. But that doesn’t mean the summer festivities have to stop! No, no, no and according to Henley Ballet and Modern Dance Festival it’s not about to!
Being the first ever open air festival dedicated to dance, this festival will not only resuscitate the community vibe but will also play host to a spectacular array of theatre, dance, and music . Set in the greenlands of Stonar Park in Henley-on-Thames, the festival offers a unique combination of entertainment and open air pleasantries.
From classical, ballet, workshops this festival is for one and all. Performances will include St Petersburg Ballet Theatre, Rambert Dance Company, Tavaziva Dance, Tiempo de Tango, ZooNation and Latin Extravaganza. Casting music aside there will also be taster sessions on show for you to slap your thighs to...
And how can we forget! Fest-goers can also look forward to Swan Lake and Irina Kolesnikova’s, Russia’s leading Prima Ballerina adaptation of Odette-Odile. Now that is something to have a song and dance to!
